VCs to act as dummies

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">PATNA: The vice-chancellors of as many as four universities in Bihar have been made to act as "dummies" till the day of completion of their three-year term. They will take care of only routine activities in their respective universities.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">According to a recent directive issued from the chancellor''s office, the VCs of Patna, BRA Bihar, Jayaprakash and B N Mandal universities shall not exercise their administrative and financial powers on policy matters till July 31 when they would complete their term in office.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="">If they are required to take any major decision in matters relating to appointment, promotion or allocation of funds, they will have to seek the chancellor''s directive in the matter.</span></div> </div>
